Mothers Day Out

Mother’s Day Out is one of the longest-running programs of its kind in the city of Paducah, providing a safe environment for young children on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year.
Parent’s Night Out is sponsored by our MDO Department, and offers safe, reliable babysitting on the 2nd Friday nights from 5-9 p.m. Call for schedule and availability.

Keys II
Kids Enriched By Your Service
Broadway UMC provides an after -school mentoring program for selected 1st graders from a local elementary school. KEYS II meet Monday thru Thursday during the school year, in a classroom designed especially for them.
Volunteers from our congregation provide a meal for them each day before the children are helped with reading, spelling and homework assignments.
Holidays are celebrated through out the year and each child’s birthday is observed.
Volunteers are needed to provide meals and to help with school work. Call the church office at (270) 443-2401 if you would like more information about this program.
Community Kitchen
Community Kitchen
Each Sunday a free meal is served in Igert Hall from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Broadway UMC began serving Community Kitchen in 1998. Congregations and organizations from the Paducah area serve on rotation. Currently there are 15 teams who prepare and serve this meal. We invite anyone in our community who needs a meal to join us for food and fellowship.
Family Kitchen
Family Kitchen serves a meal each Saturday (11:00 – 1) to anyone in our community who needs a meal. Broadway UMC participates in the rotating schedule for this ministry, preparing and serving the meal. Several of our BUMC members also help with the organizing of food, supplies, etc. for this ministry on a weekly basis.

Paducah Cooperative Ministry
The Paducah Cooperative Ministry seeks to do God’s work with human hands by drawing together individuals and congregations to respond to basic human needs and conditions.
